Inoue Arts - Godzilla 1964 - resin model kit - about twenty-four inches tall - this is a true piece of garage kit history - the kit was released in 1982, that's twenty-five years ago - back then, the resin garage kit hobby was just getting started - if you look at the photo, you'll see that all the parts are cast in halves, more like an Aurora styrene kit than the resin kits we know today - the resin has a strange feel to it, so about five years ago I sprayed one of the parts with primer to make sure the resin wasn't leaching through, so far it looks fine - this will be a difficult kit to build because of the halves, but if you've ever wanted to own one of true first garage kits, here it is and at two feet tall you can't go wrong - $299.00
